Charter Day - February 7th
On February 7, 1835, the General Assembly enacted our town charter. We celebrate this day annually with a variety of events.
Big Block of Cheese Day
Bridgewater Community Center, 201 Green Street, 12:00-5:30 pm
Big Block of Cheese Day (BBCD) harkens back to then-President Andrew Jackson’s setting aside a day for the public to speak with his cabinet and be served with a slice of cheese in the process. On BBCD, our staff will be available to hear your concerns and ideas.
Charter Day Celebration
Sipe Center, 7:00 pm
This year we will be starting a new tradition with the first induction into the Oak Circle, a society to be comprised of people who have steadfastly worked to benefit the Town and create a better life in it. “Best of Bridgewater” reception to follow.
