Town of Bridgewater, Virginia – Oakdale Park Pond

The Town of Bridgewater is accepting bids from qualified, Class A contractors to provide construction services to build a 277,300 cubic-foot wet bond below the storage of an existing flood pond on Rockingham County Parcel 122A2-(A)-L129, also known as “Oakdale Park.” The wet pond will be built to meet Specification No. 14 of the Virginia Stormwater Best Management Practice Clearinghouse to achieve MS4 nutrient-reduction credit.
All bids must be received by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Sealed bids (one original and two copies of the bid) may be submitted in-person at the Bridgewater Community Center at 201 Green Street or by mail at Post Office Box 72, Bridgewater, Virginia 22812. Bids may also be submitted by e-mail to procurement@bridgewater.town.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in-person at the Arey Assembly Hall in the Bridgewater Community Center on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend virtually may do so electronically through Zoom. Login information is available upon request. Questions concerning this invitation to bid will be received up until Monday, November 14, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.
Bids may be withdrawn only to the extent allowed by Va. Code, § 2.2-4330. Such withdrawal, along with all working papers, must be submitted within two business days of the due date.
